Midweek Ministries
KINDERGARTEN (5K) - 2nd GRADE
We have a chair waiting for you on Wednesday nights if you are in Kindergarten (5K), 1st or 2nd grade. Come to the Canterbury classroom from 6:00-6:40 to sing and learn some fun songs with our very own Jamie Davis who is the instructor with help from Bill Owen a Senior High Volunteer and Becky Ferguson super mom of Corey and Keegan. As of February, we have just started working on our Musical titled "Livin' Inside Out in an Upside Down World" by Celeste and David Clydesdale. All elementary children will perform this musical together in May.
Don't forget this Sunday, February 10th, at the 8:45 service the 5K, 1st, & 2nd graders will be performing and it's always a treat!
As you know Diane Mayhall and Jamie Davis are our have fabulous Music Director and Leader/Organist who supply us with quality music and lots of patience. So next time you see them in the hall tell them Thank You for all they do.
3rd - 4th - 5th GRADERS
Come join us on Wednesday nights from 6:00-6:40 in the Fellowship classroom if you are in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. We have just started work on our May musical titled"Livin' Inside Out in an Upside Down World" by Celeste Clydesdale and David Clydesdale, and would love for you to come and learn a speaking part along with several cool songs.
Paul Litten is our instructor with help from Bill Owen a Senior High Volunteer and Mary Rebecca Trucks on the Piano, so how could you not have fun. We are also learning "This Little Light of Mine" with a new twist that we will be performing April 13th for the congregation at the 11:00 service that everyone will want to come and hear. No need to call ahead on Wednesdays, just jump right in and bring a friend.
Of course the Music Ministry for the Kids is driven by our very own Diane Mayhall and Jamie Davis who, as you know, are hugely talented and dedicate lots of hours to bring BPUMC quality music and quality teaching methods.
