Becky Walker Bible Study
The group meets during the school year on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. During construction, we will meet in the Fellowship Hall. Topics for the group have included in-depth Bible studies, such as Disciple, as well as curriculum from sources such as Maxie Dunnam, Philip Yancey, and Adam Hamilton. Presently we are enjoying J. Elsworth Kalas’ Parables from the Backside. We are a multi-generatonal group of caring women (and occasionally a man or two!) who enjoy growing in faith through fellowship, study, and discussion. New members are always welcome!
Contact: Becky Walker (987-0404) or the church office.
Susan Truss Bible Study
The Susan Truss Bible Study was started by Susan Truss in the fall of 2002, with the study of Breaking Free by Beth Moore. Most of our studies last about 10 weeks and consist of five days of workbook lesson weekly, class discussions, and video presentations. We meet in the Seekers Classroom under the chapel from 6:00 to 7:30 on Wednesday nights during Midweek. Emphasis is on both the historical significance of Scripture as well as how to apply it to our lives, enabling us to grow in our relationship with God. We welcome new members and offer anyone the opportunity to facilitate a study. Contact person is Lois Truss, 823-3742.
